Kate Davis and David Heilbroner's ("Jockey") true-crime documentary premieres on HBO on the six-year anniversary of the murders of the title -- a brutal home invasion, arson, rape and triple homicide in small-town Connecticut. Looking at the details of the event and interviewing the people involved in the case as well as the friends and family of the victims and the perpetrators, the film explores how a community deals with tragedy and the complications arising from the prosecution's seeking of the death penalty.

"POV": "High Tech, Low Life"
Monday, July 22 at 10pm on PBS

Filmmaker Stephen Maing examines citizen journalism in China, where state-run outlets and censorship are being challenged by internet reporting. The doc, which premiered at Tribeca last year,?follows two of China?s first citizen-reporters, a vegetable seller and a retired businessman who blog about corruption, poverty and other social issues in their rapidly developing country.

"Web Therapy": Season Premiere
Tuesday, July 23 at 11pm on Showtime

Lisa Kudrow's improvised web series turned unexpected Showtime comedy enters into its third year in the adventures of terrible therapist Fiona Wallice (Kudrow). It's the celebrities who play her many online patients and offline encounters that have always powered the series -- this season will feature fellow "Friend" alum Matt LeBlanc, Meg Ryan, Steve Carell, Megan Mullally, Billy Crystal, Chelsea Handler and others.

"Childrens Hospital"/"NTSF:SD:SUV:": Season Premieres
Thursday, July 25 at 11:59pm on Adult Swim

Adult Swim's reliable live action series return this week, the?Rob Corddry-created "Childrens Hospital" for a fifth season and?Paul Scheer's "NTSF:SD:SUV:" for a third. In addition to laying into the cliches of the medical dramas and procedurals that remain pillars of network television, the two quarter hour series (which kick off at midnight and 12:15am, feature a selection of the best and brightest comic actors working today.

"Tom Papa: Freaked Out": Broadcast Premiere
Friday, July 26 at 10pm on Epix

If you don't know comedian Tom Papa from his stand-up, you may recognize him from his roles in Steven Soderbergh films "The Informant!" (in which he played ADM Vice Chairman Mick Andreas) and "Behind the Candelabra" (in which he was Liberace's stage director Ray Arnett). "Freaked Out" is his second hour-long special directed by Rob Zombie, who also helmed 2011's "Live in New York City" -- Papa provided the voice to the title character in Zombie's animated "The Haunted World of El Superbeasto."

Also worth a look:?Sundance Channel's acclaimed unscripted series "Push Girls" wraps up its second season on Monday, July 22nd at 10pm; "No Limits," this week's "Nine for IX" doc about free diver Audrey Mestre directed by?Alison Ellwood, debuts on ESPN on Tuesday, July 23rd at 8pm; John Oliver, who's currently killing it as guest host of "The Daily Show" while Jon Stewart's on hiatus, will appear in another hosting capacity on Comedy Central in the third season of "John Oliver's New York Stand-Up Show," premiering on Friday, July 27th at 11pm.
