Thank you Instagram, and more specifically Derek Blasberg, for giving us a glimpse inside the wonderfully whimsical wedding of Caroline Sieber. While we scorch ourselves in the glorious British sun, a bunch of fashion types are over in Vienna for the nupitals of Caroline and her now-husband, Fritz Von Westenholz. Somehow, our wedding invite never arrived at Grazia Towers but fear not! Mr Blasberg is on hand to bring us every detail.
For the uninitiated amongst you, Caroline is a London-based fashion stylist from Austria who's worked with the likes of Emma Watson. Not only that but her sartorial swishes caught the eye of none other than Karl Lagerfeld who promptly signed her up as a Chanel brand ambassador. In 2010, she topped Tatler?s best dressed list and it's hardly surprising considering she has London's hottest designers on speed dial.
In fact, those hot designers joined in the celebrations as Caroline got hitched to Fritz this weekend. Christopher Kane, who's dressed the style star on many occasion, looked dapper in a black suit while Erdem pulled on his bow tie and signature glasses. Pippa Middleton also arrived, opting to wear a dress and jacket by Matthew Williamson teamed with a fascinator and nude heels in another display of perfect wedding guest dressing.

But what of the blushing bride? Derek obliged his followers by sharing a snap of Caroline leaving the ceremony looking nothing short of spectacular. Her off-the-shoulder dress featured puff-ball sleeves, floral appliques on the bodice and a pale blue ribbon at the waist. But it was the swooshing veil that took centre stage, falling from an arrangement of white flowers at the back of her head and cascading down to the floor. 'Caroline von Westenholz: The best thing out of Austria since Mozart!' Derek quipped. And he might be right.
As well as the majestic setting and the towering cake, it was the pre-wedding festivities that Derek had most fun sharing. It seemed the bride and groom had set a traditional Austrian theme for the night before their wedding, asking guests to dress up in checked shirts, knee-high socks and yep, lederhosen. Did Pippa join in too? That's certainly one way to set the hills alive with the sound of (wedding) music!
